About Us

While I was very young my dad got involved in a cult and left our family.  My mother was now left with five young boys to raise.  However, despite the pain and difficulty of abandonment my mother became a believer in Jesus Christ. From then on her life was completely changed. She moved all of us to Central Wisconsin, next door to her two sisters who lived on the old homestead.

Together, these three Christian ladies raised my four brothers and myself. These women were strong and God-fearing.

My one aunt was a school teacher. My mother went to college and became a teacher herself. The other aunt was the minister for twenty years of a little country church in Spirit, Wisconsin.

We attended church regularly. It was in Spirit Baptist Church that I began to sing. Nearly every Sunday my brothers and I would bring the special music.

When I was eight years old my mother brought us to a week of evangelistic tent meetings held by Ralph and Lou Sutera. Here I heard good singing and God's Word preached. Late into the night after the last meeting I talked with my mother and confessed my sins before the Lord and invited Jesus Christ into my life.

God changed me drastically from within and continues to change me. I thank Him every moment of every day for His abiding Spirit living in my life!

Many ask why I’ve adopted the name “Under His Wings” for the David Koblish Music Ministry. The name comes from Psalms 17:8.  “Keep me as the apple of the eye; Hide me in the shadow of Your wings.” (NASB)

There have been times that we’ve been tried and tested.  Everything seemed dark and we couldn’t see the presence of the Lord anywhere.  Every one of us will go through such a time.  We will all experience a circumstance where we are at the end of our rope.  The situation will be totally out of our control.  It’s at a time like this that it’s important to remember this promise from God to us.

If you’ve asked Christ to be your Savior and Lord, then you are His child and the darkness is nothing to fear. It is simply the shadow Under His Wings.  You are protected, kept safe, and loved in His almighty arms.
